How long are the GMEIP courses?

Our premier course, “Essential Skills: Medical Book Publishing—Become a Medical Book Chapter Author Group Course,” is designed to fit your busy schedule. It is 8 weeks long, with classes held 1 day per week for 1.5 hours each session. All other courses are 4 weeks long, providing a flexible learning experience.

How many students are in a class?
At GMEIP, we believe in the power of a personalized learning experience. That's why we maintain a maximum class size of ten students, ensuring you receive individual attention and guidance from our expert instructors.

Will I join a scholarly project after I complete the course?
A student who completes all course assignments will receive GMEIP certification, enabling them to be assigned to a scholarly project as a chapter author and collaborate with other GMEIP-certified students in the assigned chapter.

How long is the scholarly project after I successfully complete the course?
The duration of the project depends on several factors, with the design of the book proposal being a key consideration. Some projects may evolve into a comprehensive book series that consists of multiple volumes, each containing numerous chapters. As a result, these projects can accumulate a significant number of pages. It may take several months for a book to be published.
